20 Minute Card

Brown cardstock from my stash was used for the A2 size card.  Two (not quite equal) pieces of leftover CTMH Sonoma paper were attached to the front.  The green border is the other side of the upper piece of Sonoma paper.  To make it, I welded 2 borders from Plantin Schoolbook cartridge with my Gypsy and, after it was cut, I embossed it with the Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots folder.  The buttons are stickers from CTMH, and the label was cut from a pre-loaded image on the Cricut Imagine.  I inked around the edges with Tim Holtz Dusty Concord distress ink and used pop dots to adhere it.  I wasn't sure what sentiment I wanted, so I left it blank.  Of course, after I used the pop dots, I realized I'll have to figure out how to stamp it when I am ready to use it.  This card took right at 20 minutes to make.

Birthday Card

The card and liner were cut at 5" using the Cricut Wild Card cartridge and CTMH cardstock and paper (Sonoma).  Embellishment stickers were also from CTMH.  The label was cut from a preloaded image on the Cricut Imagine.  Edges were inked with Tim Holtz Dusty Concord distress ink.  Ribbon was a piece I had leftover from something else.  The stamp I used was not in its original packaging, so I'm not sure where it came from.

First-time blogger

How obvious is it that this is the first time I've ever had a blog, and that I have no idea what I'm doing??  I just tried to follow someone else's blog, and ended up following my own.  And now I don't know how to remove myself as one of my followers.  lol  Any suggestions?

Baby Card

I made this card for my BFF's daughter who is expecting a baby girl soon.  The diaper bag, teddy bear, bottle, and duck were made with the Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge and the Cricut Imagine Elise cartridge.  The duck is coated with Glossy Accents and attached with a pink thread from my sewing kit.  A white gel pen added "stitching" around the diaper bag.  Paper, cardstock, and ribbon were all scraps.  The smaller piece of pink cardstock was embossed with the Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots folder.  I had the safety pin and alphabet for her name, but can't remember where they came from.
